From North Pole with Love...the Heck?

Assalamualaikum wbt..

Today, I would like to share a story with my dear brothers and sisters. For those who were born in the 1980s or 1990s..you might still remember watching all our favorite cartoons, and even now, there are many cartoons about Christmas.

Another thing often shown on TV during Christmas was the circus. I am not sure how it is related to Christmas, but it was commonly aired on Malaysian TV during my childhood.

What I want to share are the feelings I experienced during that time.  I always felt jealous of the children living in Europe or America because they had snow..which we don't have it in Malaysia.. andI used to think it was unfair that children in Malaysia celebrated Christmas without snow..and I would think that Santa Claus did not come to Malaysia because we did not have snow.. our house did not have a chimney. How would he come if there was rain instead of snow?.. it must ruined the present right.. that was my thinking when I was a kid.. funny right?

Later, I stopped asking about it because I came to believe it was not real... I got the feeling that this is all myth.. just like a story of Snow White, Cinderella, Thumbelina etc..

The problem is, if this is myth why all Christian parent ask their children to believe in Santa? Why do parents lie to their children if Santa is not real? Why must they have a Christmas tree with stockings and decorations around it and also candy in their leaving room and hoping for Santa to came down from the chimney and put the present on the floor..Parents should not teach this belief to their children, encouraging faith in the magic of Christmas.. and why they bring this faith into their religion.. weird right?

If I asking you my dear brothers and sisters.. who is Santa? how would you answer me?

I came across this answer, Santa is a jolly man in red, and must be bigger than any person a.k.a fat, who is leaving in the North Pole and having flying deer as his vehicle, he is so generous and loves children .. and forget not he always says Ho Ho Ho!!!..

My question is what is the relation of this big White Beard Man with the Christians? Why are they celebrate Christmas on 25th December every year? Is this a religion or a myth only? If it's true that Christian believe in Jesus, why suddenly this Santa Man interfere? Jesus is born in a dessert, true? why Santa leave in North Pole.. lot of questions actually.. and finally we came to a pathetic answer..

Pathetic to the kids when their parents, their grandparents, their teachers, event their priest are liar.. Now, here I want to share with you the true lie of Santa... listen to this kids...

Santa Claus gives children hope, from a lie of the parents. He delivers presents to all those children who have been good, while they the parents who bought the present for the kids. I know that this will encourages children to stay on the right path in life and sets morals for them later in life, but good moral values doesn't come from a lie.. It’s not a good beginning..

There is no room in Islam for a liar.. parent shouldn't teach this belief in their Children, believes in the magical of Christmas while they themselves have a big problem to determine it..

Al-Hamdulillah, All praise be to Allah alone, for making us Muslims and bestowing us the Deen of Islam to distinguish right and wrong clearly..

Do not misunderstand me; I do not intend to be mean or hurt others' feelings. However, we love them, and that is why we hope they choose the right path—Islam.
